2018 Syrah-  

This wine was made from co-fermenting 2% viognier skins with 20% whole clusters.  This jammy dark red wine has layers of fruit complexity on the aroma and palate with the unmistakable cracked pepper expression.  The soft tannin with crisp mid palate allows for an incredible wine with a backbone.   French oak barrels for 9 months.   Melrose Tasting Room Block / Southfork Vineyard
