2006 Harvest Update

We had a great harvest with ideal weather conditions! The bunch count was down, BUT the overall cluster size was up.

The end result was lots of fruit with plenty of hang time that will result in great wines.

We are pleased to introduce EQUINOX — surely to be a new favorite! It is made up of 60% Dolcetto, 20% Baco Noir, and 20% Tempernillo. WOW!

2005 Southern Oregon Pinot Gris, Umpqua Valley
Wayne Parker's grapes, grown atypically on the valley floor, are sold throughout the state, but it's obvious that he's keeping some because it typifies Northwest Pinot Gris.

It opens with starfruit, gooseberries, cardamom, apples and pear aromas. The flavors are those of a fruit bomb with apple pie characteristics, citrus oil and round cakey feel.

The Nectar Collector

Our Mechanical Harvester has a new name! On Memorial Day weekend we sponsored a 'Name our Harvester' Contest and the winner was Steve Hall for his entry 'The Nectar Collector'.
